I'm Old and I'm Seeing Things ...

Last night on the long drive back from shopping in Grand Junction, I swore I saw a huge smoke column on the Gunnison N. F. But just went to the NICC site and there's nothing. Sooo ... I'm now hallucinating, I'm that desperate for some fire pay.

I'm feeling very blah about my impending birthday. The last four birthdays have sucked massively in no small part due to some friends in Reno who saw fit to have Linda Blair-type meltdowns on Me Day. It's like when July 2nd rolls round, "Hey, let's shit on Melinda!" I've been stood up for Girl's Nite Outs, told I had to BYOB to one friend's for my birthday and just generally been crapped on. But the good news is: at least I'm not in Draino watching casinos shut down.

On the up side, I'm going to Gallup in a few days so will be escaping the drudgery and politics of barracks life. Life with Marc should be fun. It's never boring! :o)
